TEXAS METROPOLITAN BALLET

Texas Metropolitan Ballet is honored to present Paula Glen Dawson as one of our 2024 Summer Intensive instructors from June 3 – 7.

 

Glen Dawson started ballet at age 5 after seeing Margot Fonteyn in Swan Lake.
She earned her BFA in Dance and Theater from UT Austin and her MFA in Dance from SMU. She was a member of Austin Repertory Dance Theater, where she performed and directed. and was an original member of Sharir Dance Company. She also performed in the Zilker Summer Musical Productions in Austin.
She has taught dance for Ballet Austin, Austin Community College, Austin ISD, Contemporary Ballet Dallas and was the Adjunct Professor in Dance at Collin College in Dallas. Her teaching resume includes numerous other studios and schools. She has developed dance programs for Austin ISD's McCallum Performing Arts High School and the Episcopal School of Dallas where she directed and choreographed for the dance performance groups.
